FBT
FBT (Family Based Treatment) is a rigid approach to addressing nutritional deficiency by structuring the amount of food consumed each day (calories).  3 x meals and 3 x snacks, eaten under supervision.  Click the link to find out more.

SOS
Sometimes, discerning the difference between a “picky eater” and a problem feeder can be difficult. Determining whether or not your child is even a “picky eater” to begin with isn’t necessarily simple. It could just be a hiccup in their developing tastes, or a little phase they’re going through.  Click the link to find out more about the SOS approach to restrictive eating.

Hypnosis
Although ARFID can have many causes/triggers, the internal anxiety felt towards food is the fuel that drives the negative food response.  This therapy recognises that ARFID is typically a phobic response to food (along with sensory/neurodiverse challenges adding to the internal caution around food).  Specialist ARFID Therapy educates the person in 'why' their brain is triggering the 'fight/flight/avoidance' around food, and then assists on a subconscious level to release the internal fear associated with exploring new foods.  For many clients this is usually achieved in one or two sessions.  Click the link to find out more.
